about

This EP consists of a unique piece very influenced by Southern Indian music. It is inspired on the structure of the percussion solo section that happens during a Carnatic music concert.

In Tamil language, "Tani avartanam" means "percussion solo".

This composition is a tribute to rhythm and music mathematics. I feel deeply honoured to be accompanied by my teachers and great masters of percussion Suresh Ghatam and Zohar Fresco.

My deepest gratitude to their mastery.
